Book Night 13/02/2012 – Breaking the Spell by Daniel Dennett

This weeks book is Breaking the Spell by Daniel Dennett. It is aimed at removing the conviction that religion is off limits to scientific enquiry. If you haven’t read it don’t worry, a decent number of us on the committee haven’t either it has been a busy few months.

We are also planning on bringing some of the bethinking booklets that the CU were handing out last week. They try to counter problems that people have with Christianity. They don’t take long to read, and it would be interesting to get other peoples opinions on them.
